Police arrest Veryblackman over alleged threat to comedian DeeOne’s life

The police have arrested a strong Ratel member known as Veryblackman of Port Harcourt or VeryDarkMan’s brother.

Veryblackman was arrested on Saturday by the Rivers State Police Command for allegedly threatening the life of reality star and comedian, DeeOne.

He was reportedly arrested after his failure to honor the police invite, and transported to Lagos on Sunday.

Reacting to the development,DeeOne wrote on Instagram, “Arrested and swift to Lagos! Next time you won’t threaten someone’s life. Kudos to the Nigerian Police for doing their job.”

DAILY POST recalls that Veryblackman had in June 2026 threatened to kill DeeOne for criticising VeryDarkMan.

Reacting to his threat, many Nigerians including celebrities like Mario Wazobia, Broda Mike, among others, called for his arrest.
